Solid Ground has changed how it accepts donated items. Previously, we accepted ALL donations of clothing, household items and more. The outpouring of donations was a blessing.

Because of limited storage, however, we have had to change how we accept donations.

Beginning January 1, 2011 we will no longer accept the donations of gently used items here at the shelter. Instead, ALL items can be taken directly to Inside America Foundation Thrift Store, located on Van Dyke in Sterling Heights.

In exchange, Solid Ground will be issued vouchers so our residents can shop and purchase precisely what they need, when they need it.

Inside America is a mission outreach operated by Grace Christian Church in Sterling Heights. It was started to fund their food give-away program to meet the needs of low-income individuals. Our partnership benefits both organizations. Solid Ground reclaims much-needed storage space and Inside America has more items to stock its store.

Print out the form below, fill it out and take it with you to 30003 Groeseck Hwy, Roseville. Store hours are Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you cannot print the form, they are available at Solid Ground and Inside America.
